A decade ago a mysterious beast of the sea sprung out of the waters and viciously attacked Archosaur. We were all very frightened, but were puzzled by how easily our forces sent the beast into retreat. Its bark was worse than its bite, said we. General Summer advised we let the beast go and not chase it off into the waters. How I wish we had taken heed of his words! Instead, we all followed the foolish General Chin Ling's command to chase the beast to the shoreline, so to drive it off for good. This was exactly what the clevar beast intended, so his ugly head reared round right when he had us where he wanted us and knocked the life out of my comrades. Every night since then, the ghost songs rise into the night air and I hear the dimensions of my old friends sing the songs of our hometown. It saddens me to know that their souls are not yet at rest. Maybe Kao the Musician knows why it is this way? He has traveled far and wide and is quite aware of metaphysical matters.
