It is necessary for you to master a manufacturing skill besides combat skills. But you must keep in mind that you can only master one kind of skill. Learning to manufacture armors means you abandon opportunities of learning other skills. You may choose to forget the skill you have mastered to learn other skills, but you will lose all the EXP and levels for that skill. So I must warn you that you should think carefully before you make your decision.
