If you don't have enough accessories of the mechanical beasts for Hai the Wiseman and cannot continue your travel through time, you can find more accessories from the mechanical beasts around the ruins of Unicorn Town. If you have no problems continuing your journey, you can trash this quest.

Collect Thunderarm Claw × 10 from Thunderarm Beast Show hunting location

Collect Thunderarm Powercore × 10 from Thunderarm Spirit Show hunting location

Collect Thunderarm Plate Shard × 10 from Thunderarm Predator Show hunting location
