Replacing a Bronze Sword with a Tempered Iron Sword raises base physical damage from 15–23 to 45–68. The comparison records that change as +30 / +45. Required level rises from 4 to 11, Strength from 8 to 18 and Dexterity from 7 to 14. Attack range stays 3, so the range change is 0. Those figures are the weapons’ listed base attributes. The comparison leaves a random bonus, a socket and any refinement bonus out of this table. Leaving them out is the boundary of this comparison, not a claim that refinement leaves a sword unchanged in play.

What changes in the base attribute table?
The comparison lists a row only when at least one of the two weapons has that attribute. For this pair the rows are required level, physical damage and attack range, plus the attribute requirements beside the bonus groups.
| Attribute | Bronze Sword | Tempered Iron Sword | Change |
|---|---|---|---|
| Required level | 4 | 11 | +7 |
| Physical damage | 15–23 | 45–68 | +30 / +45 |
| Attack range | 3 | 3 | 0 |
| Strength requirement | 8 | 18 | +10 |
| Dexterity requirement | 7 | 14 | +7 |
Strength and Dexterity are requirements for equipping the weapon. They are not added to your attributes. The tool lists those requirements in their own table, without a change column. The +10 and +7 here are 18 minus 8, and 14 minus 7. If the two pieces occupied different slots, the comparison would say so. These two swords use the same weapon slot, so the damage change is a replacement, not a second weapon stacked beside the first.
Which bonus group are you looking at?
Each weapon keeps three separate bonus groups: dropped equipment, crafted equipment and unique bonuses. The table marks a line as possible on the left sword, the right sword, or both. Possible lines are not guaranteed to appear together. This comparison does not add them to the 15–23 or 45–68 physical damage.
On the dropped and crafted groups, both swords can list lines such as Physical Attack +2, Maximum Physical Attack +3 and HP +15. Switch the group control to see which list you are reading. On the Bronze Sword, the dropped group includes a line that the crafted group does not. That line stays with the dropped group. It is not added to the crafted sword’s 15–23 physical damage.
The unique group for both swords shows Maximum Endurance +50% and Requirements -10%. Use the unique bonus view when you want that list. Those two lines are possibilities inside the unique group. They do not raise the base damage change of +30 / +45, and the comparison does not tell you that both unique lines will roll on one sword.
How many sockets can a Bronze Sword roll?
Socket outcomes are a separate roll from the bonus groups above. The socket index starts at 0, and index 0 means zero sockets. The socket and gem planner shows the Bronze Sword this way:
| Sockets | Dropped equipment | Crafted equipment |
|---|---|---|
| 0 | 97% | 95.567% |
| 1 | 3% | 3.941% |
| 2 | 0.493% |
The highest index with a listed chance is 2, so the planner’s socket cap for this sword is 2. A dropped Bronze Sword’s listed outcomes stop at one socket. A crafted one can list two. Those percentages are the chances when the equipment drops or is crafted. They are not a price for drilling a socket later, and they do not appear in the base damage comparison.
What should you decide from this pair?
Use the base table when the question is whether the Tempered Iron Sword is a higher damage weapon you can equip. The damage interval moves up by 30 on the low end and 45 on the high end, and the Strength and Dexterity requirements move up with the level. Use the bonus group control when the question is which random lines are even in the pool. Use the socket planner when the question is whether a zero-socket result is the common outcome. Refinement cost is the next budget after you accept the base weapon, and it is handled in the refining calculator rather than inside this comparison.
